Pudding for Everyone! I’ve Been Tagged!

Amanda from Swish and Swanky—the most stylish blog south of the Equator—has tagged me! I have to list six details about myself… but first the rules:

1. Link to the person who tagged me.
2. List the rules.
3. Tag six fellow bloggers.
4. Leave them a comment so they know they’ve been tagged.

Okay, my 6 details:

1. I’ve had a zillion weird and random jobs over the years, but perhaps the craziest was when I worked as an elf for a shopping mall Santa…and yes, I had to wear a little hat with a bell on the end of it.

2. I also used to work as a Pilates instructor but freaked out and stopped teaching when a woman in one of my classes had one of those stretchy exercise bands snap up and hit her in the face. The incident made me realize I had no idea what I was doing, despite months of instructor training, and I didn’t want to be responsible for someone’s injury…

3. I was a Barista at the Starbucks next door to Toronto’s swankiest hotel—which meant we had a constant stream of movie stars coming in for their coffee. I’ve always thought it would be funny to do an expose on celebs’ favourite Starbucks drinks…for example Mike Meyers drinks his cappuccino made not with steamed milk but with steamed CREAM! Ew!

4. If the hubster would let me, I would eat soup for dinner every night. There’s just something so comforting and satisfying about soup. And I always feel just full enough, not hungry but not stuffed, after eating it. Plus vegetables taste much better in soup than by themselves, so it’s a great way to get your vitamins! My favourites include broccoli cheddar, black bean, and pistou, a french soup that has pesto stirred into it.

5. The part of my appearance that I like best is my hair; it’s naturally blonde and very straight, and when I take care of it properly I think it looks quite nice (if I do say so myself). My least favourite part (at the moment, anyhow—it rotates) is my skin. I’m at that stage where I still break out like a teenager but also have started to lose my youthful glow. Pimples and wrinkles at the same time? Great. Just great.

6. I want a pet REALLY REALLY badly. But our landlord doesn’t allow them. However, if I had my way, I would get two longhaired miniature daschunds and would name them ‘Linus von Puppenstein’ and ‘Otto von Puppenstein’.

I’m going to tag:
1. Georgia at Jorjah-B
2. Chris at Reverie
3. Rochelle at Rochelle S. Ryan
4. Jen at Raising Granola
5. Vanessa at Paper Chick
6. Last but not least, my BFF Jess—only a week in the blogosphere and she’s already taking it by storm!

And for no reason other than I felt like it, above and below are a little eye candy from Gentl and Hyers

Thanks for playing Anna. It’s lovely to get to know you better.
We also rent and our landlord won’t allow pets. Shame, my son wants a dog named Napolean.
